Hey, i’m Doug Nedzesky. A one-person woodworking shop based in Monaca, Pennsylvania. I work as a tattoo artist by day, so i’m no stranger to chasing a somewhat unobtainable standard of precision and perfection. Sloppy work is just not an option for me. I got really interested in woodworking around 2020. Ever since i’ve been obsessed with everything from woodworking tools to exotic wood species, to using 3d design to plan my own furniture concepts. For the past 5 years or so i’ve been dialing in my techniques, tools, and build process’ to make everything efficient. Every piece is designed and built by hand using locally sourced hardwood—no shortcuts, no mass production. I obsess over details in these projects that i know nobody will ever notice. I strive to keep an impossible margin of error on something that i know will still does move slightly with the seasons. Building these projects is my passion and I take pride in everything that leaves my shop.
